Who Stole My Energy?

Our energy levels speak to us on a daily basis.

From a spiritual capacity, energy has nothing to do with your social or cultural references.  Its about what you are drawn to, not what you are drawn into.  Energy is what your spirit prefers to bathe in.  Life does not have to be a complicated mess that speaks to anything else.  Capacity – how much energy your spirit has, does not speak to what excites or extends you, nor does capacity care what you do with your energy.  Capacity, how much energy you need or have is entirely set by each of us – the individual not the organization.  Energy capacity speaks to how and when we turn the tap.

Praying may not speak to spiritual capacity.

Capacity to learn, live grow and love is what life is all about, and that is how we speak to our spirit, our capacity to fathom, to interpret and intercede on what life knocks on our door and asks of us.  Energy is a prayer.  How do you interpret prayer?  Who calls you to find out what your capacity is?  You do no one else.  You either listen to what you need or you don’t.  You either give your spirit time to find out what you are naturally drawn to, what gives you energy or you choose to draw from another source and deplete it, nothing more.  Once you find it, take a chance, draw that energy inwards.  Ask for it by name and picture it during your day.

Cultural energy is not always beneficial.

Sometimes we need to walk away and turn our backs on the areas that we know crowd out our energy, that singular voice that brings us home.  You know when that energy is drawn away by your feelings.  Unhappiness, despair, loneliness, anger, hurt, frustration, resentment and so forth.  All of these feelings well up as an indication that we have removed ourselves from the area that recharges our batteries.  Nature is one of those energy sources, a doorway that grounds, renews and refreshes.

Cultural emotion taps your energy.

In the flick of a switch we turn on that tap with great frequency.  We read it, watch it and rest in it.  But do we really rest in culture?  If we rest, we recharged.  If we open the energy gates to the cultural arena, we effectively say “go ahead, serve yourself on my remaining energy.” If it does not uplift it serves to interrupts the flow of positive energy and move it elsewhere.  Before you know it, that culture, that hardship becomes attached to your energy system.  If we leave ourselves open to negative cultural energy, we change our vibration – a signal which turns and leaves the tap on.  Why invite energy depletion?

Shut the tap off and walk away. Know when enough is enough, when you have had your fill and when you need to return to that source that fills your cup.  Know that returning to that source is a powerful choice, not one that happens by chance.
