Submissions Overview
We welcome your input and hope your words flourish
As you turn a phrase into works many will read, we hope you to come back, comment and enjoy. Please read the guidelines below prior to submission:
- Submit your articles, poetry, stories, etc. via the contact form (copy, cut and paste) or via the email link on the footer of each page. Advise us to include your name/email OR not, and ensure this is original, non published material from your pen! For the love of all things holy, please spell check, and submit your country of origin in your header!
- We do not entertain the option of offering article submissions by mediums, physics or articles slanted towards a specific denomination. The sole purpose of this site is to bear witness to the fact that everyone has within them a joyous presence that wishes to be recognized. This site will in part foster such a home, where others have denied such as space. Those who already have that space, that presence within a denomination, do not need to take offense to this mandate. Rather we ask you consult your own community and offer that service in a like minded fashion. There will always be an outpouring of support for those who truly wish to demonstrate from the heart that there is more to life than meets the eye, ears, nose and so forth. We know that you are all more than capable of offering a great deal beyond which this humble site can contain.
- We do not wish to offend anyone, least of all our readers who kindly offer their pearls of wisdom in the hopes that others will benefit from what they feel is of value. If an article is not published, consider sending another one. We do not respond to submissions, rather we post them with the understanding you wished to have it presented here on the backyardmystic.com. If you wish it deleted, advise us.
Protection of privacy
The Backyard Mystic wishes to acknowledge the support of those who offer article submissions, and artwork. However, those who are published are done so with anonymity. We protect their right to privacy and their right to submit articles with or without their names published, at their discretion. We will not release any personal information, nor do we condone any articles which slander, misrepresent or do not adhere to the strict guidelines laid out in our manifesto. The Monthly Feature blog is the only section where we will attempt to contact the author, for notification. If you wish to contact those who submit, please do not repeatedly email us for their information, or request clarification that we have contacted them on your behalf. It is up to the individual to contact you directly.
We are here as a service, not an advertisement
If you wish to align your own site with this site, please understand that we will not publish links; nor promote products or services that do not align themselves with our manifesto. In no way do we accept responsibility for the quality or content of submissions, etc. If you find that there is misrepresentation, or cause for concern to the content, please contact us immediately. Also, keep in mind this is an ever changing media, and as such, we may or may not be aware of how this site performs on all platforms, and we rely upon your feedback.
